I have a 4720.

I had the dealer add the option for motion match which changes the rollout when you let off the pedal on ehydro.

My understanding is that this is supposed to let it roooolllll out more slowly or relatively quickly depending on the setting of the switch on the right fender.

I have adjusted the programming using the on dash controlls to various settings.

My question is how much difference should one be able to tell between the longest and shortest rollout settings.

To be honest, no matter how I set it, I am unable to detect any difference at all from one setting to another.

What am I missing here.

Yes,,, I read the manual and am able to change the settings.

Thanks in advance,,,

Tom,

I have a 4120 and can tell when I make a change. It's not dramatic, but I can tell when I make the change from fast to slow. I've not made any changes from the factory setting, only tried the switch in the two positions. I leave mine on slow most of the time.

Are you changing levels on the dash or just switching the rocker switch?

Both rollouts default to 5, but there is no disclosure of if there is a short level 5 and a long level 5 meaning 18 total selections, or if they are the same. I am assuming they are different. THEN, do they overlap, or is long rollout 9 just 1 step "looser" than short rollout 1???

If anybody else knows, please share. The manual is quite vague in this area.

I am changing the program using the dash controls then testing it switching the fender button...

The program is kinda wierd though.... It seems like there is only one setting to change from 1-9.... seems like it would have 2 settings so you could adjust both rocker switch positions...

I may have to read the manual AGAIN....

I do have the same experience, did set the slow to 9, fast to 1, no significant difference.

If you pull something heay like a trailer, you may feel it better. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

When the motion match kit is added, I think it also requires the instrument panel to be configured. When you scroll through the settings using the panel switch, you should see a setting for both "short" and "long".

Has anyone purchased a Technical Manual yet? The process should be covered in that.
