JD 455 Front/Mid PTO Indicator Light Stays On

My JD 455 Rear PTO now works fine. Read my earlier post about the electrical issue.

When the PTO selector lever is in the rear PTO only position the mid/front PTO indicator light on the dash is on. It does indicate correctly when the mid/front PTO only position is selected only the front PTO indicator light is on. Same for when the selector lever is in the middle or both position, both indicator lights are on. I did notice the mid/front PTO turning/freewheeling when it was not connected to the mower deck. However, when it's connected to the mower deck the resistance stops it from turning, however, both lights are on. I checked both switches and they both test OK. Is this another electrical gremlin or is there something I'm missing?

What other information do you need to help point me in the right direction?

I've done some additional diagnostic testing and have not found any problems. I think the switch for the front PTO may be sticking, it was working properly when the PTO was on my 425.

If anyone has ideas or suggestions feel free to chime in.
