My '94 445 has recently developed a slow leak of engine oil. At first the location seemed to be left valve cover (when seated) as the plug well had oil in it. I found that the torque on that side was indeed low and now I don't see any from that area, but the drips are still on the ground and seems to be from the front of the engine. Hours are low (400+) and it may soon go on to greener pastures as I'm upgrading to a Kubota BX23 to get the backhoe, but I want to make sure the 445 if perfect before I advertise it, and don't want it to sit at a dealer. My overall experience with this tractor has been incredible- 60" mower does a great job, even in heavy grass, and the 2 stage blower from JD is second to none in Heavy upstate NY snowstorms. Appreciate anyones past experience with small oil leak before I really dig in to it.
