Greetings!
After changing the thermostat and coolant in my JD 4310, I started filling the coolant reservoir with 50/50 mix when I noticed the mix dripping out of the bottom of the tank. I have since found out that cracking of tank is a frequently encountered problem with this part. There is a 15mm hex head bolt or screw that holds the tank on, but I cannot seem to get to it because there is not enough clearance between the bolt/screw head and the canister that holds the air filters. Does anyone know how to loosen or remove this canister so I can finish up a 30 minute project that is now in its 4th day?

Thanks!

Thank you, folks...I was able to clean up the underside of the canister and reservoir enough to see that the air cleaner canister is bolted in place through a black painted bracket encrusted with red dirt and grass from dripping coolant. Once the canister was cleaned up and loosened on the bracket, it was able to be moved out of the way enough to easily remove the faulty reservoir and bolt. Back on track again.
