Snow JD 430 Lawn Tractor - Snowblowers

I have a JD 430

I'm looking for a snowblower to run from the front PTO.

Am considering a Bercomac (made in Canada).
Does anyone have an experience with these?
Looks like a great piece of equipment

I'm also considering (if I can find one) the original equipment John Deere snowblower.

Comments? Advice?

Go with the John Deere blower. It just looks correct.

I put a Land Pride tiller behind my 2305 and have been catching some flack from the Deere guys for 5 years now and I doubt it will ever end. :laughing:

If you go with the Bercomac, let us know how it connects up to the 430.
Or do you already know it is a good match?
Which model is the orig. equip JD ?

A side note: if your unit is a 425, then a coupler kit for the hydrolics =
is required and needs to be bought through John Deere.

The frame kit is the tricky part and may not exactly mate to the frame of the JD 430 out of the box. Apparently the frame kit has many extra parts and if someone is handy might be able to adapt the frame to the tractor. Once done, you can leave the frame on year round. The blower mounts to the frame, connect the hydraulic lines and PTO and you are good to go. Also, needs rear weight and likely tire chains. Blower is about 400lbs.

I have a 48' blower that fits a 400 if you are interested in going the used route.
