JD 4240 Steering trouble

I have a JD 4240 with 6000 hour I bought it two years ago. Every time I run it the steering gets worst. When you turn the steering wheel it get real tight then it frees up and fills fine. Then some times it will turn free then next time it will be real tight. Where do I need to start looking?
