JD 4115 w410FEL and 60\"mmm

I think this is a very good deal. So I gave the dealer $100 to hold it.

Tractor is a 2002 and has 126 hrs. on it. Bucket on FEL is like new. This was at a Kubota dealer. I stopped in to price a 7610 and saw this on his lot. He gave me the price with no haggling and said the previous owner bought a 30 horse and traded this in. He does this every 2 years.

I have been looking for 3mos. and stumbled on this while driving around while camping. It was raining and I asked the campground folks if there was a kubota dealer around. I stopped in and there it was.

Tell me what you think.

First off, you didn't tell us what the price is, and secondly, this is a Kubota dealer that told you the owner trades every two years, but he had a John Deere. Does this make a lot of sense? If he trades every two years and the dealer is a Kubota dealer, how does he know? The man obviously bought a John Deere last time! John

Sorry about that. The cost is $14k, with Woods toothbar for bucket, $14,250.

This dealer said the previous owner buys every 2 years based on his preference and this time around his preference was Kubota, not John Deere.

As far as how does a kubota dealer know the guy purchases every 2 years, I don't know. All I do know is he showed me the original receipt for the tractor dated June of 02, the 50 hour service interval paperwork with the owners manual as well as all receipts and documented service work on the machine. There were 3 services performed in the service log, 1 hydraulic filter, 1 50 hour maintenance and 1 other minor.

Again, sorry for not posting price.

My only concern was that maybe the man wasn't happy with the Deere and decided to go with Kubota this time around. It sounded rather suspect at first, but if you have good paperwork and it seems all is well, the implements are in good shape, then it's probably a good deal. However, I would try to get him to throw in the toothbar instead of paying for it. That could be your bargaining. John

Re: JD 4115 w410FEL and 60\"mmm

You could always ask the Kubota dealer for the previous owner's phone number. Or, ask the dealer to request the former owner call you...

When I traded my 670 in for a 790, the dealer made such a request of me...and I was happy to oblige him. After a nice and truthful chat, the gent who called me bought the 670.

As far as the price and hours...as a comparison, I paid $12.5K for my 790 with FEL. This machine was a 2003 with 24 hours on it.

I'm sure the 4115 is a hydro..so that adds dollars.

Good luck!

Based on what I paid for mine last year you would be looking at 17-18,000 new.And I couldn't be any happier with my 4115.Good Luck!
