I'm looking for some input from owners/users of a John Deere 4052R. I need to upgrade my smaller JD Garden tractors and a Kubota 2320 CUT to a cab tractor to brush cut 25 acres, handle a grapple for down trees/brush removal and normal bucket/pallet fork work. The cab is essential in my situation, so I am not interested in open station machines, and it must be less than 8 ft tall. I have narrowed my search to a JD 4052R cutter or a Kubota L6060. Both cabs are under 8 ft, I measured each. The Kubota is 60/52 HP/PTO and the JD is 52/40 HP/PTO. I have always liked JD, but I'm concerned that the 4052 may be under powered at the PTO for a 6 foot rotary cutter for 25 acres. I'm interested in hearing how the 4052R handles a 6 foot cutter, in regular or E-PTO mode, and any issues users have had. I appreciate everyone's input.
