JD 3720 BLOWER FAN TROUBLE SHOOTING

Has anyone repaired or replaced a JD 3720 BLOWER FAN. I changed the switch but it still blows the fuse. Any help would be appreciated.

Look for the short..
I cobble up a 12v lightbulb on a blown fuse that I can plug into the fuse slot.. the light is on when there is a short.

This allows you to poke around, moving wires, and unplugging connections to trace back where the short is located.

The same fuse also operates the compressor clutch. You will want to check that also.
