Hi all, new user. So I was mowing today and went in to fuel up my JD 345. After fueling up, I tried starting and it turned over once or twice, so I backed off the switch and tried again. On the second go round the engine temp idiot light comes on and the engine does not turn over at all, (meaning that whatever has caused the temp light to come on is preventing the engine from starting). I let it sit for over an hour, engine cool to the touch, and same issue. Has anyone seen this? Is it something on the safety side, say the switch on the brake, or is there something wrong with the temp sensor? I'd had it on/off a couple of times earlier with no issues. The mower has been running well and usually starts on the first or second turn of the switch. I double-checked all fluids when the temp light came on, but all are fine. I don't really have any electrical testing tools to test things out, nor would I know what I was really seeing. Mechanically I can usually work through things, but I'm definitely not very good with electrical, (attested by the Craftsman mower I have that I am constantly trying to find an electrical issue with, but that story is for another day!)
Thanks for any help!
