JD 3320 to 3720

How much should cost difference should there be between a JD 3320 and a 3720? I really like my 3320 but need more hp for mowing think grass up hills and a few other jobs.
Has there been any know issues with the 3720?
Final question, what is the best match that New Holland and Kubota have to offer in comparison to the JD 3720? I need the mid mount PTO.

If you can handle a small increase in size, I would go with a 4x20 series for what you are doing, the price difference between the 3720 & lower end of the 4x20's should not be that much; when I was looking at upgrading from my 790 earlier this year the difference was only $2,000 - $3,500 for the open station models (of course at that time more dealers had the 4x20's on the lot as opposed to the 3x20's). Depending on how you use the machine you may even want to look at the 5000 series.

The 3720 has more hp than it has traction. Great for pto tasks and higher speed travel. I don't know if it is worth the loss you will take on sellling or trading the 3320 just to obtain more hp. If the mowing is mostly for your yard or well kept grass, the 3000 series may a better fit than the 4000 series with its less weight and more compact size. If the mowing is with rotary mower, then it may be worth looking at the 4000 series.

The 3720 turboed engines and intercoolers have been good engines. Everything else is basically the same.
