hello all. i am new to this forum so bear with me. i am looking at trying to build an adapter that will allow me to mount a five to seven kw generator on my jd 318. what i am wondering is if i should use the front pto or try to do something with the rear pto. i dont have the rear pto attachment but was wondering if i could do some thing with the output from the hyd pump. i have recently seen a duel pulley set up for the rear that caught my attention. i need to turn at 3600 rpm in order to get the right voltage. does any one know what the rpms are at both the front and rear pto's and what the top rpms are for a 318? any suggestions or ideas sure would be helpfull.
