JD 2640 Fan Belt Replacment

It looks like in order to change the fan belt the manual says that you need to remove the main hydraulic pump drive? Is this the coupling located at the bottom just below the radiator fan? Looks like two bolts? Thanks

Just looks like a coupler in jdparts held together with the two bolts.

If I take the coupling apart are there other parts that are going to drop out or is it just the clamp? Thanks.

Yes, you need to remove front pump coupler. It goes from the crankshaft to the front pump. No parts will fall out. If I remember there are some rubber shock dampening bushings, good time to check and replace if they are worn.

Looks like this? If so, couple bushings captured in the clamp. Found in jdparts.com, and you can register free for access to the parts in this form. It can be your friend if doing much mechanic work on your own, or just wondering what is connected to what.
