HI, I have jd 2006 yr. 2520cut 4wd with about 800 hrs., on it has anybody ever did john deere's upgrade to their spindle and bottom cases according to dtac on the parts breakdown? my left side was leaking pretty bad and I had replaced bottom seal's & bearing's last year and only lasted about 50 hrs. till it started again, then right side started to seep a little so I went to parts man at jd and he said I was going to be first one he sold this upgrade kit to. guinia pig me!! well when we got to brass bushing to put on pinion shaft to big, their was a lot of difference between the old one so and it would not go down over it like the old pinion shaft and it seemed to fit in bottom case fine, so we put it back together, without the brass bushing, did jd up mess here with design? ikn but now that I have it back together I can grab ahold of bottom case and move it in and out a little, not much but more than I think it should, has anybody ever checked that had a leak before to see it if they had a little play in the bottom case. I'm trying to go see a person about 100 miles from me to check his if it's ok with him.these new cases are supposed to be same as the 2720 cut was installed with. please respone back if you have any info, I known it's holiday's and a bad time to ask. but thanks to everybody, Happy Holidays
