This is a first for me. So I guess I am a wanna-bee farmer. There are Avo groves all around and my 'great' brush & scrub oak landscape. I am now retired with a JD 2520 with just 10 hrs and it is awesome! I have a hilly 4 acres & brush so going up/down SLOWLY ... is a bit of a challenge. My 'still-working' other half says I need to do something ... so I am thinking about planting as many wine grapes as possible ( the Avos use way too much water). In any case I talked her into the JD (it took a while) so now I have to 'walk the walk' and work the land.
You guys out there sound very knowledgable ... I really know now that a farmer has to be EVERYTHING ... salesmen, mechanic, and applied-dreamer! (but always practical). Thanks for being there in cyber-space.
I have gone through two "homeowner" chipper/shredders ... and I sorry I'll post this last part in the attachment place ...
