Picked one up yesterday. Only has corn plate in it are there other plates available. I read somewhere where the 71 plates work. While I like using it for corn I was interested in planting other seeds also.
What's the easiest way to clean the fertilizer canisters. One side is frozen up but the canisters are in one piece with what seems like only surface rust.
Has any one ever had the fertilizer canisters coated with something similar to a truck bed liner like rhino liner or something similar? I once saw a rusted out jeep coated with bed liner on the inside and underside and while it added some weight to it the holes in the body were completely filled in. Or is there anything else that you would recomend as a rust preventer.
Does anyone have any of the literature that came with the 246 planter?
