Thanks to the many that responded to my many questions... In return I will now attempt to return the favor and keep others updated as well. From initial signing to delivery and shortly after I'll try to update this post. When I receive the tractor I'll try to answer questions as well for any who may have them or want to see pics (of anything on the tractor). Here's what's on order....
JD 2305 (hood guard standard)
200CX (quick tach) loader w/bucket level
61" bucket... I was sold on the 53" however my dealer recommended that I went with the 61" since my main use will be clearing snow from my drive. I WILL NOT over fill this with summer duties. After working with my 49" on my 2210, I did discover that the 49" is a good size for the tractor moving dirt & the 53" would have to be max for heavy loads. However with the little heavy duty work I will be doing, the 61" will hopefully be a good fit for me. He also said that I could swap with the 53" if I find the 61" to big. Something I won't do to him unless the 61" truly seems like it far to much for my 2305 to handle. Doesn't seem fair to use something and return it but if I need to switch I suppose I'll do it since he recommended it (insisted)... 1st impressions are fantastic with my new found dealership friends... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Cruise... opted not to add this option. I'm already at over kill for my 1.5a and it just isn't necessary for my needs...
ROPS front lighting... This will be nice to have at night after work moving snow. For $55, it was a nice feature to add. btw: dealer said there was no need for alternator upgrade with option...
62C deck... had this on my 2210 and was a perfect match. No reason to change. Drive over deck is now optional for $500-600 more but not necessary for my needs.
Independent lift... this is one of the features that a lot of people wanted on the 2210. It's an option that I chose not to add. Again, for my little 1.5a I don't see a need for it. The mower deck can be locked in the up position if I want to use the three point so I didn't see the need.
Ballast box... I can get one for $150 at anytime from them. I chose not to order one at this time. I made a ballast box myself that holds 8 case weights. The ballast box would hold more so I almost bit but if I did that I would probably opt for a box blade or something that could be more useful. Though, I think for $150 the ballast isn't a bad deal.
Tires... went with R4's
Well, there we are... tractor is on order as of today so we'll see when it shows up. Projected time is only about 2 weeks... Guess may be time to change my sig...
You're welcome to post any questions and I'll do my best to answer them....
