I am buying a new JD 2210 with a 62c mower deck and would like to put on a grass bagger. JD does not offer a bagger kit for this tractor although they do offer a system for the X models which use the same 62c mower deck. Does anybody know of a company that sells s system for this tractor OR can anybody tell me how to make up a system that will work.

If it is the same 62C mower deck as the X series, can you not just order the Deere blower that goes with that deck, and fabricate a cart with box to blow the grass into? If me, I would make the box and cart with a convenient dump while at it (I use the MC 519 cart from Deere).

There may be after-market carts suitable for collecting the grass too, or something that would attach to the 3pt system.

Seems the key 'headache' would be the blower which is probably around $500 (at least it was for my x485 on the 54" deck). The rest should be fairly straight-forward.

I would like to be able to use a bagging system that attaches to the back of the tractor and not drag around a cart or trailer. Even if I had to remove the three point hitch arms while I am cutting grass that would be okay albeit inconvenient.

The three-bag system Deere has for the X series should be 'mountable' to the rear of the 2210 with a little ingenuity and design too. Especially if you are willing to remove the 3pt arms, but I would think a carrier designed to atttach to those arms would be handiest. I'd think only the chute from the blower to the bag cover might have to be modified as the length to the bag might be longer.
Wish you luck. The bags, while needing manual dumping and dumping more often, would be much handier to manuever than pulling a cart, as you plan to do.

Removing the arms also means you can not raise your mower deck. The left side lift arm engages a tab that operates the MMM lift linkage.
