Hello everyone.
My son went to use the tractor yesterday to cut the lawn. Then went to move some dirt and dig out trees.
Told me the tractor would stall when lifting something heavy. He left for lunch then came back and said it didn't start.
He checked the fuel filter, was ok, there was oil in the sight glass. When I turn the key, I hear nothing. When I move the
speed selector from low to high, I hear some clicking. The battery appears weak when I put on the lights, because they get dimmer.
We tried boosting it with a booster pak and that did nothing. Right now the sight glass is empty, maybe the lines are full.
It seems that current is being drained when I turn the key, but the starter doesn't engaqge ir even click or turn over.
I know my son can be rough with the machine because he took a heavy equipment course and worked in the woods with
a delimber but I always have to tell him it's NOT skidder, take care of it. And usually when he takes it, there's something wrong with it.
Anyway, any ideas of where to look is appreciated.
Thank you.
