JD 2210
Hi everyone.

I was just out clearing some snow with the tractor. I drove it into the snow, then pressed the reverse pedal, and as I went to press the forward pedal, it was hard to reach because the pedal had
gone all the in the up position and the tractor kept on going in reverse. I tried to pushed the forward pedal down, but it will not go down. So as the tractor was still going in reverse, I lowered the throttle
then shut it off, and put it in neutral. I checked the linkage real quick underneath as it is dark outside now. Nothing is hanging down, I looked in the driveway and saw no parts
on the ground. When I push by hand or foot the forward pedal, it's just stuck. The reverse pedal is free floating up and down with no tension to it whatsoever. Can a tractor God tell me what just happened
and where I should look to free up the binding? We are getting another storm tomorrow, would you know it. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!

There are quite a few pivot points in the linkage between the pedal's and the tranny, and there is also a hydraulic damper. Your just going to have to crawl under there and have a look, and make sure everything is well lubed also-Fluid Film works great.

Thanks Kenny. Maybe something tripped with the linkage or the dampener is not working or stuck. I believe I had a similar problem a couple years ago where the pedals would stay stuck in forward.
Oiling helped and freed it up. Hope it's the same thing this time.

Well managed to pull and push the tractor into the garage. Sprayed it all down with Liquid Wrench, then when it was done dripping, I put a small heater under the dampener
then 15 minutes later, checked it and noticed the pedals went down to neutral. They work fine now. The cold weather did it again.
