I'm in the market for a used tractor to do a little hay bailing and many utility tasks with and ran across a JD 2130 the other day. I haven't run across many XX30 JD's and I'm curious about this one. It may be a tad big for my needs, but the price was decent, maybe too decent. The tractor looked as if the back tires were tall and skinny, not as wide as many I've been looking at, I don't know if these tractors came with different options for the rear wheels, but anyway. This tractor also had a cab which is a negative for me, really don't want one. Plus the cab didn't have air, I believe someone around here says "a cab without air is a greenhouse" or something to that affect. Would the cab be removeable? I have no experience with a cab on a tractor at all so that may be a stupid question. The hour meter on this tractor appears to have been replaced as it only reads 125 hours. I may ask if I could contact the previous owner and find out a little more about this guy, not sure if it's the right tractor for me though.
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
