JD 2020 Prestolite Distributor

Have JD 2020 gas with prestolite distributor ibt 4101 S. It is jd part # AT21351. The gear on the drive shaft stripped and can not find just the gear. It is Jd part # AT21721 for kit that has gear, pin and shims. or AT21722 for just the gear. The gear is a prestolite part 90-597. I can find rebuilt distributors for upwards of $900 but I only need the gear. Does any one have any suggestions as obtaining prestolite parts, used gear, etc. etc. etc. I am exhausting all sources. THANKS to any one with info
