jd 2010 backhoe loader

also was told the front hydraulic pump was replaced
is there a separate pump for the rear backhoe??????

This machine used the 2010 power unit, the same a a 2010 JD tractor 2010 dozer and loader series and backhoe. Its and industril so the front pump runs the backhoe like on my Ford. The 2010 may also have a hidden rear pto also. Im not sure on how o price it without running it first, if the tires are good and it doesnt smoke and transmission and hoe is good and not too muck slack it can run from 3 to 7000 . Thats just my experience. I just got done running a 2010 Gas burner dozer for a friend this week, they are tough little machines. The only advice i can give is to check the fluids trans rearend, the oil, water, hydrauilics, and run it and for about an hour or 2 to let it warm up and then check it over. look for water in the engine oil, and the hydraulics may have a bit of condensation in them.

I had a 1964 JD 2010 Industrial with loader and backhoe. I bought it in September 2001 for $2,000. It ran, but needed quite a bit of work. I had to replace several parts (Carbureator rebuild, intake/exhaust manifold, muffler, tach cable, front hydraulic pump, brakes, all filters/screens, repair gas tank, lots of other misc. small parts). From stuff that I read from others on the net, about 3 out of 4 reviewers say that the 2010 was the greatest mistake JD ever made, and 1 out of 4 said that they were great tractors. I probably would keep the price in the range of $2000-$4000. All of the manuals are still available through JD (I bought those too), and some parts are available from JD, alot more from aftermarket or junkyards. I ended up trading mine in for a loader from my Kioti, so I don't have anything about it anymore. Good luck.
