JD 110 tlb vs. Kioti dk40

After watching youtube for a while, I'm impressed with the JD110 TLB. I'd like to know how a Kioti DK40 would compare. Are they in the same class?

The DK is a tractor, the 110 is a real backhoe. It's significantly beefed up and more capable than the similar sized Deere tractor (4 series if I remember right), and that comparison carries over to a similar sized Kioti as well.

Same goes for the Kubota backhoe units -- they are quite a bit beefier than their tractor siblings.

If you remove the backhoe unit, isn't the jd very similar to a farm tractor? I'm just using a kioti dk40 as an example. If you fit the kioti with a woods BH9000, is the JD still much more beefed up?

The JD 110 is a small backhoe, stronger with faster cycle times than a farm tractor. The backhoe doesn't detach easily and they are no longer made plus they cost more. No three point hitch either.

The 110 Deere did come with a 3 point hitch, you removed the arms when the backhoe was attached. Not sure if it was standard or optional.

Not all of that is true. The 110 does have a traditional 3pt, it is interchangeable with the rest of the 4x20 series ... , the backhoe can be removed usually in a couple minutes, it is quick attached and detached with a couple pins.

I have been doing some research on the 110. The main differences are that the front end loader is integrated and not removable, and it also has more hydraulic output.

The FEL on the 110 is stronger than the 400x/cx loaders on the 4x20 series, but the DK 40 loader is actually pretty close in lift strength.

HP numbers are close as well.

The DK 40 is a compact utility tractor.
The John Deere 110 is more of a commercial grade TLB. Heavier built with larger hydraulic pumps, Etc.

Vince, I don't believe anything is built heavier on the 110. Besides the integrated loader mount, and maybe a sub frame system for connecting the backhoe, I don't think there are any differences other than the hydraulic pump. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that is what my recent reading has uncovered.

LOL, I would, but I'd need more HP. The 110 would be a step backwards unfortunately. I'd go with the Kubota M59 if I could afford it AND it had a factory cab.
