I got a notice in the mail from JD on Friday cogratulating me on the purchase of a 110,but the main focus of the notice was to ask if I would like to participate as a "customer member" of the JD 110 Early Detection Problem Resolution team.Basically they want me to report experiences and problems(I hope none!!)to my dealer and they also wanted to involve me in teleconfrences and on site visits. Now this all seems very cool to me but I am wondering if anybody buying the 110 has gotten this notice or if it is just a handfull of people it is being sent to.

I am sure that like any new design of Anything, there may be bugs that need to be worked out that only the end users will find or notice. I would think that being on this team for JD, that they would see to your needs and concerns rather quickly with you being there eyes and ears on true field use and experiance.
Do they tell you what allowances and entitlements you will be given as a member of ths detection team ?

Joe, just be sure to work the heck out of the hydrostatic transmission. Get it hot. I think the engine and most other things will work great, not that I'm saying the HST won't either, its just where one would be place a lot of emphasis of importance. After 100 plus hours on my L48, I am tremendously pleased with how well the HST works. It was MChalkley who turned me on to it. All the tractor dealers I went too whole heartedly endorsed HST. If you have not used it, it will take some familiarizing, a few hours but man is it great for loader work, I love it! Rat...

Mark,
In the notice it does say that response to any problems would be "quick as possible" and it makes sense if there are any problems they could also correct them while they are in production. As far as entitlements or allowances....they said I would be required to report my experiences w/the 110 to my dealer, who in turn will report to the factory, they also said they would like me to be involved in teleconfrences, and on-site visits, personally I just want to get the thing and put it to work./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
