JD 1050 with 430 loader

Hi All, I have purchased a 1050 that has had a 430 loader welded on to it. I would like to put the original quick hitch mounts on. Cutting the welds off isnt a problem. Can someone please show me what mounts are used and is clearencs a problem with the clutch linkages. I will try and attach a pic

I have a 4400 with the 430 loader. IIRC, the 430 could be fitted to the 990. The 990 mounts may or may not be different then those on the older 4xxxx tractors. I've just never looked that close.
However, there is a lot more similarity between the 990 and 1050 then there is between the 1050 and 4xxx series machines.
As far as linkage clearance, the loader masts set about 5 (+/- 1 inch) inches away from the tractor.

I suggest you check on the mount hole pattern in the 1050 frame before purchasing the mounts...

These are pictures from my 870. It appears that the engine or maybe the transmission/clutch housing have mounting points built in. It looks like what you really need is to have your tractor set up with longer thick square tubing rotated the 20 degrees or so to work properly as a quick attach. I might have time later to measure that rotation. It is time to spray some weeds.
