Hoobers is a very good operation, also our biggest competition. I've been to their larger two stores several times and never seen a JCB on the lot. They have two other locations that I've not been too, its possible they have them there. I would guess they probably sell JCB for the construction aspect of the brand, not the tractors. They are very dedicated to Case.

On the JCB dealer locator, if you choose the agriculture icon it shows all of the agricultural dealers. Hoober is shown as an agricultural dealer and on their website they show the JCB AG equipment they sell. JCB Fastrac and Telehandlers

I asked some friends in Europe and they told me Stoll or Quicke loaders are found on Fastracs. Stoll is the most common. I hope this helps some.

Sorry about promoting your competition Neil:eek: But you need to take on the JCB ag line so I can refer you:D

Hey no worry... if you do call there, they are a good company to work with.

A JCB won't work very well for me so I doubt I will ever call them. If I want a Case I will deal with my local dealer. If I want a New Holland you know who will get my call (same goes for a Kubota if I ever turn orange:eek: ).

Robert

that's what I am talking about a loader like what is pictured.

Do you know of the websites etc. for Quickie and Stoll. I would like to contact them and see if loaders are truly available and what the spec's are like and if they are quick connect both to the tractor and to the buckets etc.

if so it looks much more promising.

Stoll-JF Maschinenfabrik - Homepage

If you click on loaders you can select JCB Fastrac and it list quite a few models so I think you will be safe with Stoll.

And here is the Quicke loader site. I didn't play around on it too much though Products

thanks Robert...really appreciate the help...we will see how it pans out.

off hand do you know if Stoll or Quickie sell their products in the U.S. they have a distribution network and parts support etc.?

I know Quicke does and I think Stoll does also. I can not tell you anything about parts or such but I don't think you will need very many parts for a loader anyway as they are fairly simple. You either weld them, repack the cylinders or replace the hose. The only issue might be the joystick but that may be an option on the JCB to be loader ready so it will be a JCB item.

Robert

thanks so much for all the help...looking at both I like the Quickie spec's better at first glance...glad to hear they are in the U.S. Do you know of a distributor and/or dealer?

We sell them both. Typicaly Quickies are the better, stronger loader. They also do a fair amount of OEM work for New Holland.

You see, I was able to help you out Neil. Now all we need is Dave to buy a JCB so he can drive it over to your store for a new loader:)

Do I need a Fastrac...no....do I want one yes.

Probally about a year away from owning.

Uses, some ag, hay. tillage etc.

Also looking at snow removal, salting etc.

Field mowing etc.

Check out JCB's UK site...great info there...check out the snow removal brochure with Fastract setup with plow and rear sander unit. very cool.

Good Tip on calling them...hope they will be helpful...many times they will only refer you to closest dealer regardless of their abilities. We will see...was just hoping some other members might have a referal on their own expirence.

Cheers

Dave

Being a british ex-pat the fastracs (and JCB in general)have been very good to us (all models) but 1135-2155 (ag models) are the peaches and have thought about owning one here in canada (Fastrac or backhoe) but the parts availability scares me...?Maybe it's better down south....?
JCB is very under-rated here but people who have them love them.Jcb in the uk are second to none for parts and service.
I'm a little out of touch with british stuff after living in canada for 10 years are things improving...?

If you want to speak with a JCB Fastrac dealer that has been through the entire run starting in the early 90s, call Scholtens Equipment in Lynden WA.

Speak with Roger or Duane - they are very knowledgable and have new and used machines. Their phone is 360-354-4071.
