My 1981 JCB 3C 111 backhoe has very poor braking on the left side and no braking on the right. Nearly had heart failure trying to stop the thing when I was backing down hill !! I am the new owner and was aware that the brakes where bad, but that made me realize that I really should fix them. I have not been able to find any info on this. I think they are wet brakes, and driven by the main hydrolic fluid. Does anyone have any info or experience with this type of brake repair ?
