Ok here its goes...This is my first tractor I have ever owned. Been around them a little over the years but never owned or operated one much. I bought this Century 2035 with a c.50 loader today. I was told its a 2003 model..sound right.. I cant seem to find much info about this tractor...I see 2028...2535...etc..... I was told its a 4cyl Mitsubishi.....i noticed all those others have Kuji? motors except 1 has a Yanmar. Im a newbie and an trying to go about this the right way... all my info together. I need a manual.....a dealer to buy parts from...etc.... known problems to identify?. Im in Central KY. I know this is alot of ? but I got to start somewhere. Thanks everyone. Thomas.

Hey Thomas. Good luck on the new tractor. The Century's are, as Redneck Randy said, discontinued. Parts and warranty support has been taken over by Branson. That said I think that the Century 2035 was the same as a Branson 3510. Look on the very top of the engine for an ID plate. It should be a Kukje.
Also, look on the back of the tractor underneath the PTO shaft. There should be another ID plate with some info. Get that and I can tell you where to parts, manuals, and anything else you might need.

Hi,
Hope this helps. If you haven't found it yet go to www.tym-america.com and in the support section you can download the owners manual. While you're there look through the forum section for info. Then go to www.bransontractor.com and find your closest dealer. Your tractor was built by Kukje and I think Branson is now handling all the Kukje tractor parts in the USA. Find a good Branson dealer and you will get all the info and help you need. These tractors are great, like anything they have a few issues, but this forum has kept everyone informed of them so you can plan ahead and take action before it's a problem.

Thanks for the replys fellas.;) Im pretty excited about the purchase. I wont get to try it out really till next week. I have some prior commitments to fullfill the next few evenings. The only problem is I need to get a new battery. this one will not keep charge. Any recomendations for a battery? IMy first priority is to service the tractor... I just need to get all the capacities...filter #'s and the such which is where I am looking for help. Hidden grease fittings...lol. Dont laugh but a nice wash and wax....detailing of a the undercarrage and the whole nine yards. I plan on it looking new once again.:p Dont get me wrong I will use it but a clean start would be cool plus easier to keep an eye for leaks and such.
claggsgarage756, here are the #'s from the rear tag......Modle # is F3550 serial # is cl5k00159 The tag on the engine which I missed yeaterday reads..... Mitsubishi Heavy Industruies Engine Family xmvxlo1.8AAA......1.8 litre....36hp@ 2600rpm
So what are the know issues with the tractor I should be aware of....any modifications needed? Thanks again to all you guys here at TractorByNet! I cant believe Im this darn excited about a tractor...LOL:cool: BTW, just a little about my self... Im married...with a 10yr old daughter. My interests are diddling around my 6 acres and constantly working in my shop. Im a drag racer thru and thru(Im parial to FORDS..LOL)....I build drag cars as a side hobby. Im goin to include a pic of my race car(Mustang) on the rear bumper from last fall.

This statement is somewhat misleading,in that Century did not "go under"--------The manufacturer in South Korea (Kukje) now owns Branson. Branson Tractors started out as the US distributor, but it now runs its own show in the USA. (In effect, this makes Branson one of only 3 or 4 compact tractor brands in the US, that actually manufacture the tractors, including the engines, and market their product themselves.)

The Century tractors were rebadged by Kukje/Branson for American Jawa who elected to go another direction and partner up with TYM tractors.
Thus , just the name "Century" is disappearing---not the tractor itself.

I know this can seem confusing-----but if you look at the history changes of Ford---New Holland---Fiat---Case---International, and who actually manufactures the New Holland compacts, these types of changes don't seem so unusual.

ProFord, I suspect it is a year or two older as they started using the Kukje instead of the Mitsu earlier than 2003. That really doesn't matter though, it's a great tractor. Branson sold a 50 series before the 10/20 series arrived, sounds like this may be that model? You should post a picture, and make sure the Mustang is at least in the background :). We have a 1965 Coupe and a 1995 Cobra (clone) convertible with a supercharger and such. I don't have to worry about standing it on the rear bumper, but it moves right along.

Dancce, thanks for your comments, you are right on the mark of course.

I m just wanting to really know what I have and how to get the right information pertaining to the tractor. I wounder who the Authority besides just any Branson dealer here in the states would be now Americnajawa is out of the picture....

You would want to contact Branson in Georgia, they are owned by Kukje, and Kukje built your tractor. By the way, year model on a tractor is often year sold if there is no other clear definition, so this can be a bit of a gray area. No wheelies on the tractor....

Boy it's too bad that a man with such great taste in tractors has such a poor taste in cars...lol... life sure would be dull without the chevy guys taking jabs at ford guys, and vice versa. Welcome to the forums and enjoy that tractor. I have a 3510 and I think that our tractors are, if not twins, at least siblings of one another...Welcome aboard.....Brian
