It\'s HERE!

Wow! It finaly happened!

After a two+ month wait, my tractor was delivered on Tuesday.

I would like to thank all of you at TBN for your sound advice and encouragement. So far (14 hours) the tractor has exceeded my expectations.

Here's what I got: TC40DA (harvest rental return with 118 hours), 16LA loader with quick attach, CAL 4in1 bucket, palet forks, gearmore 72" box scraper with hydrolic rippers, T&T, Rhino 800 rear blade, grill guard, wheel weights.

Craig at Garton Tractor in Santa Rosa, California was wonderful to deal with. He welded hooks on the 4in1, a D ring on the scraper box, fabricated at heavy duty guard for the electric valve to operate the 4in1, delivered to my property (3 hours away) and spent 3 hours going over the tractor with me. All at no extra charge from his original quote.

I'm just thrilled to death!

Re: It\'s HERE!

Matt, looks like an awsome set up. Congratulations and many happy hours of tractoring. Be careful on skidding those logs....that one looks huge. Do you have your own sawmill? Have fun and enjoy.

Oh , almost forgot.... if you get a chance....give us some close up shots of your electric diverter valve set up , etc for running your 4-in-1. Many of us are interested in that stuff.

Re: It\'s HERE!

Matt, that's a great looking tractor. It's good to see you aren't wasting any time putting it to work. When your hillsides are wet, you may find it slips a little, but MFWD and differential lock will help a bunch. If I was working on your hills, I'd just leave it in MFWD all the time. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

BTW: We always seem to know instinctively to keep the FEL bucket low, but on the 3PH, it's not so natural. I've pulled some heavy loads with a chain to my boxblade on my tractor. You need to keep that blade low too. It will help you keep your front wheels from going airborne. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I have a trailer ball in a welded bracket on the back of my boxblade and it's a handy addition.

Re: It\'s HERE!

Hey Matt, great pictures. Any chance folks could get a glimpse at the creative "arrival" announcement you put together the other day. I was quite impressed. Lots of folks here would be too I imagine.

Re: It\'s HERE!

Matt nice looking TC40DA. It looks to me like you didn't waste any time putting that rig right to work as soon as it was delivered. Don't you just love that hydro for skidding on a slope?
