Lets hope no one finds out the hard way w/HST pedal stuck.
I guess the only thing one could do would be jump on the brakes and shut her down, than say whew.

Even with HST, hitting the clutch stops it, although so far I've never had to do that.

No clutch on my Deere. But you could put the range selector into nuetral along with using the brake.

There is an interesting safety interlock on my tractor if a hydro pedal is depressed without the seat interlock switch being in the defeat position (operator on the seat) it will kill the engine.

Yeah, DFB, I know some of you have no clutch like most of us Kubota owners. And I have no seat interlock (thank goodness). I'd have to disconnect that. I wear my seatbelt and understand the reason for the seat interlock, but sometimes that just won't do, like day before yesterday when I was picking up pallets with bricks on them, and I had to stand up to see exactly where the ends of the forks were to ease into the pallets.

Hi Bird,

I know what your saying. I had just that problem trying to slide my forks between logs on my logpile, I certainly needed to see where they were going. Had to move the range selector into neutral every time I needed to stand up. Frustrating to say least. Just sliding foward on the seat is enough to cut out the engine sometimes.
