Hi Fellas,
I'm a new member and would like to ask a question of someone, who may have had the same or similar problem.
My RHS brake was not working. So after considerable effort, I managed to remove the brake drum cover, which houses the brake shoes etc. I discovered the problem was/is caused by a leaking oil seal from the gear box. To replace this seal, I need to remove the brake drum.
Question: will the thread be a normal RH thread or possibly be a LH thread?
When turning the wheel hub clockwise, the brake drum turns anti-clockwise. In this case, it could possibly be (and logically so) a LH thread (to undo). Any thoughts please?
Colin
