Iseki TS1910 glow plugs

Hi, looking to replace the glow plugs on my TS1910, currently they have a set of JKC 10.5v 6k glow plugs that are 88mm long with a 24mm long glow element.

I can't find any info on JKC plugs but the replacement glow plugs for the tractor supplied here in the UK are 81.6mm in lengh and the glow element is 22.5mm. NGK who are the main glow plug suppliers don't make a match to the JKC currently in the tractor.

Will the difference in size cause any problems, I have not got a voltage spec yet, but is the 10.5v critical.

Have you been on ARC Components Ltd (GB). They have some 88mm long with a 22mm element. 0-130-17 Ive no idea if they are what you are looking for. Ive never dealt with this firm and have nothing to do with them.

You DEFINITELY want to stay in the glow element LENGTH..
.. otherwise it wont stick it the cylinder far enough to lite the fuel/warm the cylinder..

One thing is that at least they wont do any damage being shorter.

The voltage is designed to accommodate the inherent drop during starting and also across the glow plug resistor (indicator if applicable) when pre-heating. So if you put in glow plugs designed for 12V they may not get to the target temperature in actual use resulting in more difficult starting. To elaborate, when you crank the starter this causes a dip in system voltage which takes a nominal 12V battery to usually around 10V. Less voltage = less amps going to the glow plugs = less temperature/heat available. Obviously if they don't make the exact glow plugs you need you'll have to select the next nearest and hope for the best. I would agree shorter is probably better than longer.
