Hi all, first post & newbie from Aus!
I have inheritited a Iseki TA545F that is in need of some help; I am fairly mechanicaly & electrically minded & am stumbling through most issues so far with the tractor.
It will be eventually donated to a local Scout Camp in the area once it is fit for running.
So far it has a good solid crank with the starter motor but that is about it!
There are no instrument panel lights, no horn, no lights etc; the only thing I/we can do on it is turn the key (relay clicks) & starter turns nicely (but doesn't start).
I have cleaned up lots of connectors/plugs etc but so far have only found one in line 2A fuse (don't know what it does but it is not blown).
The manuals I have looked out show fuses in various locations including 2 x 40A fuses plus a few for misc items; to date I have been unable to locate any of them!
I hope that has given someone some basic knowledge but happy to supply more info if needed.
Where do I go from here? Where are the fuses & am I missing anything?!
Thanks in advance.
Latest update, I have now managed to get the tractor started & it runs great!
Temp & fuel gauges also work well as well as a few warning lights on the dash; the front loader is fully operational.
I have found the fuses (4) behind the dash, there appears to be no others.
The fuse for the lights/horn/indicators after being replaced blows straight away, after disconnecting all the lights/bulbs & multi switch (for the lights etc) it still blows.
I am guessing it is possibly shorted on the firewall or similar but will keep hunting!
Have now found shorted out/rusted brake switch (above pedal), once removed the fuse no longer blows however still no power to lights (or anywhere on combination switch that controls lights/horn/indicators).
Latest update on our project, the combination switch was found to be damaged (a new one on order), the brake light switch rusted (also on order) & the tail light broken (found one at a tractor wrecker on the other side of the state).
All coming together well now; next issue is a jammed lever for the 3 point linkage at the back, draft control works well.
I will suss out a few other forums to see what others have done.
Happy to hear others that have experience in this?!
