Is this a reasonable price for a Kubota L2600?

Is this a reasonable price for this tractor? Anything bad or good I should know about it? It is posted locally on Craig's List.

Just gonna give you my :2cents: on what I think. I think it looks real nice, I knew someone that had one some years ago w/over 3000 hrs on original motor.Plenty of mechanical parts still around for them. As for sheet metal availability on parts , wound'nt know. Looks like it slept indoors all its life. If it where me I'd offer $7000 cash in their face and see their(buyers) reaction. If I really wanted or needed it I think I 'd go as high as $8000 cash if I didn't have to travel too far to get it.

We just purchased a L3000DT with 1100 hrs.for $9500 and thought it was a buy.I would jump all over that.I wouldn't wait too long.Bring cash and offer less but I feel its worth the asking price.

I agree with nybirdman. It is a reasonable price if everything works on it. I would take all of the cash but keep $1500 in another pocket. If you like it show him the 8K and see what he says. You can always get out more. If that tractor were around here someone else would probably have bought it while we were talking about it on here. :scratchchin:

When I bought my L2900 I offered the guy 1500 less than his asking price and told him I would give him 200 then (on a Saturday) and would bring the rest in 100 dollar bills on Monday. He took it and I wrote up a little receipt for both of us to sign.

Thanks for all the replies. The guy wont budge off of $9500 and I don't think I am willing to go that high. Also, I think it may be a little small for my 60 acre place.

I too think the price is fair.

There are two L2600's on tractor house. One with 3000hrs for 8k, another with 760hrs and 12k.

But I do think you are right about being too small for 60 acres. But then again, it depends on what you do with the 60 acres. If it is farmed, or alot of mowing, then yea...too small. But if mostly wooded or something, and just want to clean up downfall, and maintain the woods, it would be about right, as bigger is less maneuverable.

$9,500 is a very good price for this tractor, IF THE TRACTOR MEETS YOUR NEEDS.

Double caution is advisable on Craig's List.

A 2011 what?? They didnt make the L2600 in 2011 (which is what this thread is about). So for 24k, might be a steal, just depends on what it is??

That L2600 would likely fetch 11 or 12K up here but if it doesnt meet your needs then its no bargain OP
