have attachments open in another window? The reason for asking is that after viewing an attachment and clicking "back", it seems to take for ever for the TBN page to load. If there are several attachments to view, it gets boring to have to keep waiting on TBN to reload.

Other web sites I visit open the attachments in a seperate window so when you close that window, your previous window does not have to reload. Makes viewing pictures much faster.

Thanks, Bob.

I agree with you 100%. The owner of the site even said they were going to work on it but that was a year or 2 ago.

Best thing to do is if you're using IE is right click and click Open in New Window. Myself, I use Firefox with a 3 button mouse. One click of the middle button will open any link/attachment in a new tab. I find FF the best way to go. You can even block annoying ads.

Since I use Internet Explorer, I routinely do the right click and "Open in New Window" as BillyP said.

Thanks for the tips guys.

Your recommendation works with Netscape as well, however, it is a little cumbersome. When you right click with Newscape, you then have to pick the "open in a new window" out of a list of about 4 options. The one I want is in the middle, so you have to look closely to avoid clicking one of the others.

This is still faster than opening attachments in the same window though.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't realize that was an option. Seems to be a better choice for me.

I use SeaMonkey, so I set my mouse wheel to open any link in a new tab. If I remember correctly with IE you can hold the shift key and left click to open the link in a new window.

I really hope the site owner will fix the "Show Images" option soon, if that option is checked all images, attached or using the img code are visible in the thread and you don't have to open each one.

Yup, I remember that!
I sure wish it was a user selectable option.
