Even if it gets rave reviews, it can still be a flop if they don't sell. According to the video, they aren't selling nearly as many as they first anticipated. All the reviews I've read from people who don't tow anything heavy, say its not too bad as a regular EV vehicle. It offers the suburban family basically the same day to day experience as the average 1/2 ton family hauler. Just plug it in when you get home.

Yeah I'd hope they didn't count on all 1.9 million pre-orders to come through! Even if they sell 100k of them for a few years, it probably will make them money, plus they've now got one under their belt, did some beta testing for some new tech on the early adopter customers, and maybe the next one will be a bit more appealing to the regular rural pickup driver?Even if it gets rave reviews, it can still be a flop if they don't sell. I don't see 100k/yr of these as a sustainable number at any price. It just doesn't seem to be very useful at doing the things most of us buy a truck to do.Lots of automakers would like to sell 100k/year of something, especially at the CT price.
