Is it me, or is this loader too big for the tractor?

1953 Ford Golden Jubilee Tractor

The price seems a little high also. Not that I'm looking to buy, the price just caught my eye.

the loader is the factory loader for that tractor and the price is about 1000 to 1500 to high but would still make a nice tractor since it is power steering

but im sure somebody will pay the 6k asking price if the tractor is sound

Well it touches the ground and I bet it stacks real high. So I guess that means it fits, even if it looks funny.

The loader does look alittle tall for the tractor. The main thing I would worry about is the bucket size and what you put in it. I have been known to overload things and it can be very hard on front ends. My granddads new had the one armed loader in 1953. Rebuilding a engine can be very costly if you are doing it correctly and not just using a spray can.

come on guys. you tractor guys should know better. Too big of a bucket doesnt always mean it was used for heavy dirt or stone. Bigger buckets are used all the time based on the materials it is used for. Light materials such as loading mulch or on jobsites for moving trash. Could have been used for horse manure or could have been used primarily for snow removal, you name it. So, no the bucket probably was not too big or maybe not big enugh for the material it was handling
