Tractor Sizing is it enough

Our Ford 1520 has about 1,620 hrs. on it. The tractor is in nice condition considering that many of those hours were racked up by non-owners. (The tractor is somewhat communal and therefore takes plenty of abuse.) We have replaced the three-point lower link mount on both sides mainly due to use with heavy three-point tools. We also replaced the three-point turnbuckle earlier this year. It seems like our front ag tires wear out pretty fast, but when I compute the hours it isn't that bad.

I've never been to either place, F1520. I know some co-workers of mine take long lunches and camp out at Wolgemuth's building products auctions looking for deals on things for their hunting estates...errr, cabins. I have seen advertisements for Long Lane Tractor but just haven't hunted it up yet.

Thanks for the info on the (lack of repairs. I'm hoping to get many trouble-free years out of mine.

I've been to a few offsite auctions run by Wolgemuth and to their main auction location last July. As is the case with many auctions, theirs are so well attended that real deals are tough to find... at least in my experience. In general, I saw better deals at their building material auctions than their equipment auctions.

I bought a ROPS bar and some front weights for my tractor from them. Ken (the owner?) is a good guy and was very helpful. They have a few of the 20 series tractors in their yard. I hope you never need salvage parts, but they're a good place to check if you do.
