Is any one importing the Chinese walking tractors into the US?

I don't know of anyone. It's unlikely that anyone is because the smog machines China makes would never get by EPA regs. Even my KD440 is NLA and it burns pretty clean in my opinion.

I poked around Alibaba for the first time in my life and there are some pretty interesting machines on there, dunno if any could make it into the US. I chuckled when one had "no oil leaks" as a selling point. Here's blatant ripoff of a 732 (minus brakes) -

Hi! I have seen on YouTube Many Kubota and Yanmar big two wheels walk behind tractors. These ones ,have big one cylinder water cooled diesel engine. steering clutch no differential Very good , heavy powerful and easy to repair. China makes clones A lot and inexpensive. May be somebody could import these tractors with no engine. Install or fit a clean EPA engine. Good luck! Oldmech

Those machines look pretty cool, but in my experience most China products I have seen/tested are junk. For me personally life is too short to waste time with crap products that have had little to no quality control. All that being said if someone showed me one of these machines made by Honda or some other high quality company but just happened to be physically made at a plant in China using Honda exceptional quality control processes, well now, that is a different story. But if the latter was the case they would cost much more I think.
