I live in Maine own a B8200 HST Kobota with a 6500 woods Backhoe .Also have a set of clamp on forks which I would highly recomend Presently building a house Tractor really comes in handy and with the Hydro tranny the boys have been driving it since they were about 10 They are now 13 and 15 . Even my wife can drive it only hit the garage once so far . I work on all my own stuff most of the time four wheelers, snowmobiles, outboards, trucks ect Tractor has been losing power lately no bad smoke starts fine just changed fuel and air filters did not help Loss of power with both driving and PTO so I think it is engine rather than fluid related , change hydro fluid and filter cleaned screen about 150 hrs ago . Tractor has about 750 hours Owners manual under "insufficient output " says carbon around orifice of nozzle piece , clean orifice and needle seat But no other explanation . Also after the fuel leaves the filter it looks like it goes to a screen housing ?Any help would be appreciated Thanks

I had a B8200HST-D for 12 years. Great tractor! Only thing that affected power on mine was air filter loading up; just maintenance to fix that.

Are you sure you have good clean fuel in the tank? No water?

The filter on the right side of the tractor was the only one on mine, for fuel. Mine was a 1985 manufacture.

Since you changed all the filters(and cleaned the Hydro strainer screen?), I would try draining the tank and putting in fresh clean diesel.

Mine had 1250 hours when I sold it to get much larger 40HP tractor. It ran great. My wife used it all the time. Mine did not have power steering; that would have been nice. Adding PS has been documented here though; interesting threads to read. If I would have kept the tractor, that would have been next on the list. I did make a TnT setup for the 3pt hitch; that was a GREAT addition.

Thanks I will try blowing the line back to the tank next and the lines should be replaced as they are original No water in filter housing Also put some kero in to start better at cold temp this winter and haven't run all of that out yet

Hi Rich. I know this is an old thread I'm resurrecting, but maybe you still follow along.

By nozzle I'm guessing they mean the pre injection chamber nozzle since it is an IDI engine. Running Diesel Purge straight through the engine will clean up IDI injector nozzles. Make a small bottle to suck out of and have fuel return to and run the engine at 2000rpm or so untill it's gone. it can help built up deposits lot!.

Also, remove the injector and have a peek down there. Might be able to reach in and clean some out. Just a tip for anyone doing a search like I did and was left hanging.
