Does anyone have any information or photos of "International" brand box blades, rear scraper blades and landscape rakes? Local dealer says he can get them for me at a good price, but I don't know how the quality is.

I made the mistake of buying an international back blade and got exactly what I paid for. Although made of stout material the design of the angle mechanism leaves a lot to be desired.
The pin which sets the angle adjustment only has 2 contact points the blade pivot and the 'A' frame. Kingpin is a piece of 3" dia. pipe, very easy to twist. My advice would be to spend the extra on a Landpride or Rhino. Wish I would have.

Don't count International out! They have light, medium and H-D in almost all of their implements. Yes you get what you pay for. If you want to blade snow and straighten up the gravel on the drive the blades are a good deal. If you want a full blown bulldozer rear blade these won't do. If you are talking box blade buy the International and go ahead try to tear it up you probably ain't gonna do it. Their light duty box is almost twice as heavy built as most other boxblades at half the price. The landscape rake will be fine too. Fit and finish on all of their equip is O.K. but not great. The blades are about the only thing I find any fault in at all.

I recently purchased an International 6Ft rear blade. I had been all set to buy a Leinbach, but the dealer only had the International blade left. I didn't want to wait for another and the blade seemed O.K. I used it for over 4 hours to grade and it seems to do a good job. It was only primed and not well finished, but I can paint it BLUE if I want. I paid $264.00 for it. It seems some others don't like the International brand, but so far I have no complaints.

Are you guys talking about the International from Bethel, Ohio? They are just down the rode from me, and the dealer I bought my JD 4510 from swears by them. I got a 6 foot rotary cutter along with the tractor, and so far it is bomb proof! I ran over a log and it worked just like a log splitter.

I try to avoid the practice, but it is niice knowing the equipment is tough.

My buddy bought a trailer to haul his exmark walk behind for his business and he is very happy as well. He and I are going to take a field trip one of these days to see what other implements I can use once the cash flow situation improves again.

I guess you need to decide if they make something with the features you want, but the stuff is built tough.

Redman,
I am just North of you a bit, but would be interested in knowing if you can buy retail at International. I have a feeling they are the same company as World Agritech Corp in Bethel OH.
