I was looking to buy a dozer for some projects around the house. Guy down the road has an International 500C dozer. He has owned it for several years and has used it very little. Did some research on the machine. Looks like parts are still available except for the engine. Supposedly the undercarriage and engine were rebuilt shortly before he bought it, but he has no receipts for anything. Its a nice looking machine and the sheet metal on it is straight and not rotted out. Undercarriage looks to be about 80% on it. We did not attempt to start it that day since it was 10 degrees outside, but I did see it run several years ago. Anything to check besides the obvious? Does anyone know an approx value? Thanks
