Internatioal 544 gear oil level checking

Folks,

I have a 544 International with a 4cyl diesel engine. Manual (non hydraulic) transmission with a Torque amplifier.

I can't find the place to check the gear oil in the transmission/ rear axle.

I don't know if it is covered over in dirt and I can't see it but I have not been able to find one.
Can anyone tell me where to look? right side left side back end???

I found the plug to check the hydraulic fluid on the left side of the tranny case. It is an "inny" 3/8 pipe plug.

Where the heck is the pipe plug to check the trans heavy oil?
