Hi guys, newbie to this forum. Great place you have here.

I am looking to buy Kubota G1800 and I have a Berco 48 snowblower. The company who makes the blower has NO fittings to Kubota. So I'm out here on my own on this one.

What I desperately need is a picture of HOW the regular PTO driven Kubota blower fit on. From what I understand, it's a simple attachment to the front of the PTO shaft. BUT, since the PTO shaft does not extend more then half an inch from the pulley face, are they simply holding it there with the four bolts that hold in the PTO pulley?

I really need some help on this otherwise I'm reinventing the wheel. If you guys can provide me with a couple of good pictures of the PTO and shaft to the blower, I'm fine. Even better yet, a picture of the coupling itself would put me in second heaven.

THANKS YOU in advance.

This may not help you but on my old G2460 there was a pto kit that bolted to the front pulley. It had a full size pto connection for attachment of the snowblower shaft. It stuck out far enough to grind the removable guard a bit so it was definitely different than what you describe.

It amy or may not be the same. When you bolted it on, was the original PTO shaft, the one the is holding the pulley, was itlong enough for a keyway or was it simply a bolt on?

I talked to the service man today and he told me it simply bolted on. Now, I don't know how big those bolts are and if they are at LEAST 3/8" then it's possible. Normally, the bolts are there to hold the pulley in and the actual power transfer goes through the keyway.

There is a lot of power getting transfered and I simply want to make sure.

I have a G1800. There was a optional PTO kit for the front of the G1800. It makes a short shaft on the front side of the forward PTO. Part number for the PTO kit is 66101-82500.

I'm not sure if this was for a snowblower or not? I've tried to attach a picture of what the front PTO kit looks like in the parts manual.
