Instruction sheet

Does anyone have an instruction sheet for LVB25221? It is a power beyond kit that I'm interested in for my 4300. I've been told that it is no longer available at the local John Deere dealer, but they found some from other Deere dealers that I could purchase. After looking at the picture on the John Deere part website, it looks like it come with a bunch of stuff I don't need, like a slow moving sign. I thought if I could see an instruction sheet, that I might be able to piece it together rather than buy the kit with the stuff I don't need. Thank in advance.

If there is a kit available somewhere it is most likely a better price than individual items. So long as they are not trying to get extra $ for an aged bundle which is normally not the case if someone still has one sitting on a shelf they are probably glad to see it go. It costs a lot to stock stuff you don't sell.

While I agree that is usually the case, it was not for the PB kit for my 955. I got a price for the bundle and for grins I went through the parts and priced all the individual components. The total of the individual components was cheaper. Also, two of the pieces were standard hydraulic fittings that Deere wanted $17 each. I bought those two fittings at a local hydraulic supply store for about $4 each IIRC. That saved me even more money.

There is always an exception to the rule. And the farther back you go in the product history it will be more and more likely that individual items are better priced. Deere does have a pretty good track record of pricing bundles better than "their" individual parts prices. Certainly always worth checking both sides. I mostly mentioned it because I have felt the pain of having obsolete inventory that needs a home for just the right guy so can be easier to haggle on price.
