Installing Hydraulic Pump for Front Loader on a 4500 John Deere.

Does the same pump work both power steering, back 3 point hitch and front loader bucket? How much trouble to replace pump and maybe some hints. Thanks

In looking at the JD parts breakdown it shows two separate pumps for steering and implement. Why are you looking at replacing the pump? I recall that some of the Deere models had a rubber hose on the pump suction that would weather and crack wit have causing the system to operate slow and noisy.

Many hyd pumps have been replaced only to determine that the pump replaced wasn't the problem. Have you performed any type of hyd diagnostics?

What was the end result. I’m having an issue also with my 4500. Everything was working fine now nothing.
