Installing Grease Fittings

The new JD compact tractors don't have grease fittings on the steering ends, anyone ever drill and install them?

My 4310 had grease fittings on the tie rods and the steering cylinder, I like to be able to grease these things on my new tractor.

I wouldn't penetrate the ends if they are sealed now. But that would just be my take on the situation.
