This last weekend I finished up my grapple thumb install. I used the 28" thumb from Greens Machine and hydraulic hoses from Discount Hydraulic Hose. I used 3/8" hose and ISO 5675 AG style quick connects for my rear remote on my L3350 and for the disconnects up near the grapple for when I need to pull it off. I used 1/4 plate for the mounting plate and the wrong color of Kubota paint to finish it off
Tacking up and leveling out the main plate.

I welded nuts to the bottom of the plate. You'll see why in the next picture.

As you can see once I boxed in the the plate it would be hard to reach the center most nuts with a wrench.

I used Allis Chalmers implement paint, but it did not match well. It would have been better for a new Kubota but not the old color. Whatever. It'll get dirty and beat up so I'm fine with it. It's better than rust.

All installed. Looks great in my opinion.

Hose routing seems good. No low hanging hoses and nothing is too tight. Looks like my measuring was good. I'll probably replace the zip ties in a few key areas if they break. For now, I'll just leave them.

It's first victim. It'll take a little practice to get used to, but so far I'm enjoying it.
