Try a "personal articles" policy with State Farm. I pay yearly, but I believe they offer other options.

I use Farm Bureau. Two tractors and one trailer along with loaders and a few implements for $260 per year. I also have my vehicles with them on a separate policy. There is a $50 a year membership fee but they are very good to work with.

If you like the company and the coverage, budget. Stash the quarterly payments somewhere so you can send it to them in one. I use a CC to pay my auto that way so that I get the bonus points/rewards.

I use Farm Bureau.

I refuse to use FB for anything.

This is what I got and they break it down monthly on mine. I do have several other policies already though.

Dan, this coverage will vary greatly from state to state. I would start with what ever company/agency you have auto or home with. Ask your tractor dealer for suggestions. Do internet search for tractor insurance in California. Many companies do not or don't want to write such a policy as the only coverage you have with them. The agent/agency may make about 10% of the premium and it is hard for them to break even for the time and work for $50. Just telling that detail so you can understand their position better.

Can you elaborate ? I got my policy with them a month ago and now I am wondering if I need to drop them.
